Frequently Asked Questions

How do I add a new eye drop?

Open DropReminder, tap the "+" button, enter the name of your eye drop, and choose how often and at what times you'd like to be reminded. You can add as many drops as you need.

Why didn't I get a reminder notification?

If you missed a reminder, check that:

Will DropReminder sync between my devices?

Currently, DropReminder stores your schedule per-device. We're considering cross-device sync in a future update — if this matters to you, send us an email and let us know.

Is my data private?

Yes. DropReminder does not require an account, and we do not collect your name, email, or any personally identifying information. The app stores your eye drop schedule using a secure encrypted cloud database to keep it persistent across app sessions. We do not sell, share, or use your data for advertising. Read our full Privacy Policy.

How do I delete my data?

To remove all your data: clear your schedules within the app, then uninstall DropReminder. To request deletion of any cloud-stored data tied to your device, email us at the address above.

Is DropReminder a medical device?

No. DropReminder is a personal reminder tool. It is not a medical device, does not provide medical advice, and is not a substitute for professional medical care. Always follow the directions provided by your physician or pharmacist regarding your eye drops and treatment plan. If you have questions about your eye health, contact your eye care provider.

About DropReminder

DropReminder was created by Azhar Salahuddin, MD, a practicing ophthalmologist and cornea specialist, to help patients stay on top of complex eye drop regimens — whether for post-surgical recovery, glaucoma, dry eye, or other conditions that require multiple drops at multiple times of day.

The app is intentionally simple, free, and ad-free. If it helps you or someone you know stay on track with their eye care, we'd love to hear about it.
